Smartphones are now as powerful as a laptop but can’t be converted in laptops easily. In CES 2018 Razer launched Project Linda, which converts the Razer phone into it’s specified Razer laptop. Razer phones (launched Nov 2017) are specially designed for gaming and are powerful with great speakers and battery.
Razer’s Project Linda concept is an ultraportable laptop design powered by the Android-based Razer Phone. The docked phone serves as an intelligent touchpad, bridging the gap between handheld entertainment and laptop convenience. Phone screen can display special or quick features of the app being used while the mouse is plugged in. The Razer Phone’s performance, display, and dual front-firing speakers combine seamlessly with Project Linda’s larger screen, keyboard, and battery to provide the ultimate mobile hybrid setup for gaming, creativity, and productivity.
This laptop has an audio jack, a full size USB 3.0 and a USB-C as I/O ports. It is only compatible with razer phones. It is brilliant idea how they change the smartphone into a laptop using the power of a smartphone. This might be the future product that gives an alternative to chrome book. It’s price and date of launch isn’t fixed yet.
