Chinese mobile giant Xiaomi delivers excellent budget phones that have thus far not been easily available in the US. This year Xiaomi is entering the market with the new flagship Mi 8. The fingerprint reader under the screen of the Xiaomi Mi 8 could be the main novelty of the next high-end of the Chinese firm. According to the new leaked video that shows the phone unlocking system may be biometric which was implemented in this year’s Vivo phone(Vivo X20 Plus UD).
Although it is not clear if we have a Xiaomi Mi 7, what seems obvious is that the Chinese company wants to get its own iPhone X in the form of the Mi 8, and that could be characterized by this innovative biometric unlocking system by pressing with your finger on the screen.
This fingerprint reader under the screen is one of the most expensive technologies currently implemented in a mobile phone, although at the beginning of the year the Vivo X20 Plus UD debuted in the market with a feature that, presumably, will be usual to see it in most of the high-end next year.
